Structure: Brussels has 19 municipalities. There will be one recipe per community, per municipality. Together with the recipe, there will be a short food writing text. Opposite page will be full-page photograph of either recipe provider or neighbourhood. Total page count will be minimum of 19 x 2 = 38. There will also be a short introduction and additional photographs to break up the book, making pagecount around 50 (but no more).

Format: Royal, HB

Audience: As it crosses over the cookery, gastronomy, photojournalism and travel genres, wide audience. Foodies, photo junkies, travellers, hipsters, cultural theorists. And not just Belgian but European audience in general.

Hook: Local gastronomy festivals? (Ex BXL Food Fest)

USPs: First book of its kind in Belgium. First publication of both, up-and-coming author and photographer. Crosses over multiple genres, so broad audience.
